Sabotage

Sabotage is a b#tch. It’s frustrating for me as a coach!

How must it feel for you as a woman if you are experiencing self-sabotage in your life? Even worse than frustrating.

Sabotage can show up with different labels:

  • Procrastination.
  • Overwhelm.
  • Busy-ness.
  • Guilt.
  • Excuses.

You start out willing (at least you think you are), excited, and motivated to finally make some changes in your life that make you feel confident. 

That might mean changing how you eat, your activity, your fitness training, or your self-care. Cultivating healthy relationships and distancing yourself from unhealthy ones. Setting boundaries and saying “no” sometimes so you can say “yes” to yourself. Changing toxic habits and replacing them with emotionally and physically healthy habits. Making yourself a priority.

 “I’ll really do it this time”.

Then, as if on repeat, you slide back into old ways. You procrastinate. You get overwhelmed and give up. Then comes the constant mental beating you give yourself as if that’s going to help! And boy, can you be MEAN to YOURSELF, right?

Maybe you blame others, too, who are interfering or stressing you out and not being supportive.

As a fitness trainer and coach, this is hard for me to witness. Your success DRIVES me! I don’t want you to fail!

NOW, I KNOW WHAT WAS MISSING.

Wow, yes! My heart is leaping with this shift in perspective.

Over the last year, I’ve been training to be a certified women’s Personal Empowerment Coach through the S.W.A.T. Institute.

I now clearly understand how to work with women on an EMOTIONAL level. 

This comes FIRST, before all of the goals, plans, action steps, and uncomfortable changes.

You can stop feeling guilty RIGHT NOW. It’s not your fault if you’re struggling. You don’t need to beat yourself up and keep pushing yourself.

When we work together on your EMOTIONAL empowerment, the fog clears. The guilt is released. As you understand yourself on a deeper level and get out of the guilt, shame, and blame cycle you clear the way to shift into a higher, more empowered perspective. 

 

Ahhh, how would it feel to get that weight off your back? Not extra body weight, but the weight of expectations and not feeling good enough?

I would love for you to experience joy, confidence, and peace in your life. If that means getting healthy, stronger, and more empowered in your vitality then that might mean taking action steps that are a little uncomfortable. Change can be uncomfortable.

Before you sign up for that gym membership or set a health goal, ask yourself if this is coming from a place of self-love and acceptance. Have you struggled and failed numerous times with lifestyle goals? Are you constantly starting and stopping new diets, supplements, or exercise plans? This might be hurting you more than you realize.

I invite you to change your approach this time and get to an empowered place FIRST (which is the REAL you). Once you get to that place, the rest will be much easier. The sabotage stops.
